Browser-based self-custody can be useful when the trust surface is clear, the device is trusted and the recovery path is understood. The key is explicit boundaries, not convenience theater.
Why this build uses a split surface
Public root for trust, /app/ for the wallet interface.
WEB4 Wallet now keeps public acquisition pages separate from the app shell so users and crawlers do not get the same policy surface for two different jobs.
